I had an early bet here on last years Silver Wokingham winner, Chiefofchiefs.
Was happy enough with 20’s, but it made sense to cover the 16’s EW, as he really should have been much closer the last twice, finding a bit of bother in running, particularly at Doncaster.
Nobody booked yet, but Spencer has got the gig the last twice, and hopefully he can produce him at the right time here.
I’ll watch the Thursday Decs closely, as Ropey Guest is a huge price here at 50’s, but this looks second choice at the moment.
Loads to like about Rohaan last twice, and he’s interesting at 14’s
Chiefofchiefs 16’s EW 5pls, and 20’s
Have Great Ambassador top of my ratings but need one to come out by tomorrow as he’s first reserve. It’s a mark of how competitive the race is htese days that a decent sprinter like Major Jumbo is only third reserve.
I’ll put up ratings for this one once I know if any reserves get in.
Dragon Symbol gave a big compliment to Rohaan yesterday.
He has obvious claims from stall 10.
The two previous winners came from the same stall. This is of course the biggest field he has run in and lots have chances here.No particular strong position on this with my orignal choice now out, but going with my top two rated Raeeb, possibly better to come than he has shown so far and big field form as a two-year-old, and Above, ground a doubt but solid enough form and I’ll trust the trainer.

Fair to say Rohaan and David Evans have been on my radar for a long time.
Watching the interview yesterday, Sid James would have been perfect as David Evans in Rohaan the movie.I had a crap week all round but the Dragon Symbol form was too good to ignore.

and got the second as well.Hoping he will be substituted for the July Cup so I’ll be able to see him.
LOL Sam I could certainly see old Sid James playing David Evans if he were alive. Maybe Alan Sugar should take acting lessons and apply for the part.
What a horse if you have been on him last 3 starts Sam and Tatling.. and hope more to come.
