Sometimes i get a couple of bob matched or free from Skybet. Anyway, i got a matched tenner and decided to put it on Toronado, along with the freebie. This bet and the one before are a bit light in that the price was a factor. If i back anything else for Ascot, they will be less about the price and have more substance.

Plans diverted. The two people who read my thread(the rest are bots) might have noticed that Mars is a horse i like to punt on. I was waiting on him to got to the lesser race at Ascot, but they’ve went and stuck him in the St James’s Palace. I have kept the faith. Sigh.

I read the article and bought into the Henry vs Nicky idea. Two of the best from their respective discipline taking each other on over 2m4f on the flat at Ascot, with the same owner. It would have been harder not to.

Cheers Nath. It was about time, so let’s hope it can be added to. The classic runners can find it quite tough here. It was with 365, so as it was higher than 4/1 i get a free bet to the same stake on the next…so i chose Pavlosk, and added another tenner. I’ve bet too much, but these things happen.

Blackbeard to conquer the World
I can’t be bothered with all this toing and froing. It’s not working out. So what i’ll do is bet the lot i have, and hopefully something happens. I fancy the lesser staked horses in the Chesham, but Richard Hughes is keen on his. They say you should never listen to a jocky. Well i’ve been listening to myself and look where that’s getting me…a bit of smoke but no cigar. I stubbornly avoid each way the vast majority of times. Anyway here goes. I like Friendship and Freedom Square, but Hughes seems keen on Bunker, who i think is too short, but i’ve went with it. To make itn worse i haven’t looked at the card properly.
