Beat me to it, "graysonscolumn" – I was going to post that!
By the way, shouldn’t you have an apostrophe in your name?!?
January 2, 2009 at 23:03 #201086It should really, Benny, but as the graysonscolumn name existed as an email address before it did as a wider internet presence (and has done for eight years now), I’ve always been more used to rendering it without. It should really have a capital G as well, come to think of it!

January 3, 2009 at 00:23 #201100My wish is simply that the sport manages to survive this economic downturn and emerges in reasonable shape.
I fear owners who have seen their wealth destroyed could leave the sport in droves over the next year. The effects of the recession have been already seen in the bloodstock market, but I don’t think it has really affected the day to day running of the sport – yet…..
January 3, 2009 at 01:51 #201129My wish is that Hurricane Fly is sent for the Ballymore at Cheltenham and that Sizing Europe can show that his AIG win last year wasn’t just a freak run.
January 3, 2009 at 02:28 #201143You better make another 2 wishes "Imperial"!
January 3, 2009 at 17:13 #201262To see Diamond Harry avoid Cheltenham. Don’t want to see a potentially top horse like him get destroyed by a monster in Hurricane Fly.
January 3, 2009 at 17:21 #201264Irish,
1/5 he runs in the "Supreme"! and wins in a canter!January 3, 2009 at 19:19 #201289I’m on for both at the min. Would imagine they’ll go Prep-Cheltenham-Punchestown-Prix La Barka

January 3, 2009 at 20:44 #201307Can’t help thinking people have Diamond Harry and this Monjeu beast the wrong way around – Diamond Harry surely the novice to beat?
January 3, 2009 at 20:45 #201308Aga Khan to get a good bang on the head, then wake up forget he retired Zarkava.
January 3, 2009 at 20:53 #201309My wish is for Ballycassidy to have a very sucessful, and more importantly very safe season in his new job as a hunter chaser.
And for Snoopy Loopy to hold on to the order of merit.
And for Mon Mome to win the National.
Punjabi to win the Champion Hurdle, ridden by me.
For Clive Smith to give his whole string to me as a lovely gift.
To send all of said horses in training with Simon Gilmore.

"Peruvian" "Diamond harry" as fine a staying prospect as you will see at the moment, "Hurricane fly" is a speed machine and would absolutely
leave "harry" and anything else over 2m in Novice company for dead!January 3, 2009 at 20:56 #201312Oh… and also, for the old racing post website to come back!
January 3, 2009 at 21:01 #201313You don’t ask for much do you Zome?
When you get Clive Smith’s string could you ask if he could send me his money please? times are hard in Chateau Stamp

Whoever mentioned the Daily Mail being sued earlier – yes yes yes. In fact, I’ll go one step further and wish that the whole fascist institution that is The Daily Mail collapses and stops brainwashing our whole country with lies, bigotry and hatred.
January 3, 2009 at 23:04 #201339My wish – For the flat season to be run on decent / quick ground for the vast majority of the season and for courses to not water in a constant attempt to get "perfect" ground.
