“Spacious heads 12 Windsor Castle entries” – Racing Post
<!– s:lol: –>
<!– s:lol: –>June 10, 2010 at 19:20 #299838She’s last year’s winner and the 2nd highest rated in the field. The 7/1 on offer with Hills is quite generous imo. I assume this race was the plan for a while and is her main target for the early part of the season. Having had a pipe-opener she’ll take beating.

Antara 100/30, Strawberrydaquari 7/2, Shamwari Lodge 5/1

Saphresa
has by far the best form in the book, is still open to improvement and, whilst unfortunate enough to be lumbered with a penalty, is a good deal better than the majority of these.
15/2 is too big, let alone 16/1.

Shamwari Lodge has done me so many good turns I really should back her again but every horse has it’s limits.
This is her toughest task to date and as much as it goes against the grain I’m looking elsewhere for the winner.
SMS very consistant Strawberrydaiquiri looks certain to make them all go but I really like the attitude of Antara, who is a lovely filly.
Very straightforward ride, keen as mustard and the exact type needed to mow down the Stoute horse in the closing stages.
Spacious you have to catch on a going day and that could be today or next winter in some far off land so I’ll stick with Frankie to steer
Antara
to victory.

You could be right AJ, but she does have a 5lbs penalty and this is her first run. The Sun Chariot form is suspect, with Gaahnati and Strawberry running below form. There is some money for her, so that would suggest she’s fit, so take a little off that 16/1.
Value Is EverythingJune 16, 2010 at 14:09 #301147This has just reminded me that I had a lot of 2nds at Royal Ascot last year as well.
June 16, 2010 at 14:10 #301148What a cracking race and such a gutsy performance.
June 16, 2010 at 14:10 #301149that went well…not

wd winners, tough as teek performance
June 16, 2010 at 16:24 #301193You have to love Strawberrydaiquiri as a horse. She has a tremendous win record and just hates losing, what a tough girl she is.
Wonderful ride from Ryan Moore as well.
