Got a shortlist of three here for the back up bet……

    Ike Sport
    Serious Operator
    Western Walk

…with a slight preference for Western Walk right now.

The one I have bet, yet again, is Minella Missile. His setback has obviously taken its toll, and not came back the same horse after his promise of two years back.

I’m sticking with him though, certainly at these odds

    Minella Missile 100’s EW6Pls
    Western Walk 18’s

Already backed Brentford Hope ew, and will probably do the same with Blenkinsop, who caught the eye last time.

Hansard for me. Ran a great race here last year and with Freddie Mitchell claiming 5 pounds he is on a intereseting mark.

    Hansard 25/1 EW

I like steel ally also but the one I’m going with is my old mate Be Aware.

I wouldn’t hear of defeat for him in the coral cup and he did travel well but, norm for the first time Skelton refused to budge off the rail and allow himself better luck.

He does like a big field though this lad and dropping back in trip is the right thing to do. Currently 8/1 and that will do for me.

Also backed him in a double with Mister Meggit later in the card and Iroko tomorrow. X

de Boinville was absolutely shocking over the first 2 furlongs.

The man’s confidence is non existent currently.
