But it’s a left-handed track!
That said, so is Cheltenham, where he was running away with the Triumph when he fell – I never bought the needs a right-handed course excuse.
Goshen will love the ground, but he’s the mother of all Cliff horses!
Ok, I will take a look….

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"January 21, 2022 at 14:29 #1579016“Surely this can’t be classed as equivalent to Dublin Racing Festival. Thank god for the Cheltenham Festival.”
Despicable – Someone just take him outside and shoot him.
I’ll provide your alibi, I’ll say he fell on the gun, while trying to type his own name with the caps lock on.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"January 21, 2022 at 14:33 #1579017The ground and the galloping nature of Lingfield will negate the need to go right handed. As you say, the Cheltenham new course did the same.
He won’t run to his best rating, but will absolutely walk this. 5/1 is very generous.

January 21, 2022 at 15:06 #1579023Goshen will win again one day. But it won’t be this weekend; Darver Star will hose up.
I see on the Post’s website that Edward O’Grady has joined in the criticism of the festival. Wonder if he reads TRF? 🤔
January 21, 2022 at 15:47 #1579028Or posts here?
I wonder which one of us he is?

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"January 21, 2022 at 16:25 #1579033It was good today. Nice to see some good horses running over jumps at Lingfield again. Even though the ground was testing, the horses were getting through it well enough. And I was happy to see Venetia land a double.
January 21, 2022 at 18:01 #1579050I wish to hail this meeting a tremendous success, catering for a decent quality of horse which thrives in Jump racing’s most testing ground conditions.
Though they no longer have the Sandown Park-esque open ditch alongside the last or natural wings on every fence leafy Lingfield is still a cracking jumps venue.
Looking forward to Sunday – that’s if I’m not arrested beforehand for shooting anyone who compares today’s excellent fare with “the March meeting!”

If you looking for a bullet check yeah Butt.January 21, 2022 at 19:32 #1579071Even more than I first thought, this is such a good idea
It bought home how barren racing is outside the Saturdays and Dublin pre Cheltenham
Spot on Ian and yes it’s a great place to watch jumps with those three fences up the straight
January 21, 2022 at 20:17 #1579083Hey Clive there are other courses with fences up the straight
January 21, 2022 at 20:37 #1579085Great stuff, Clive – I remember NH racing at Lingfield back in the 80s, horses of the quality of Nick Gaselee’s Berlin, Inlander winning that decent 2m4f handicap hurdle they had the Saturday after Cheltenham.
Today evokes memories of that for me.
I hope this new fixture is around for many years to come.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"January 21, 2022 at 20:50 #1579087Troy when you start to go racing you will notice that not all viewing is the same
January 22, 2022 at 21:47 #1579408Great card again tomorrow, but not happy with the race title of the 2.25.
In the same way actors refer to a certain play – that superstition dictates must remain nameless – as “the Scottish play” those four days racing should simply be labelled “the March meeting.”
I think Goshen, poncing a living as a racehorse for ages now and no doubt living the life of Reilly at Gary Moore’s, should actually be in the first three (err, of three) tomorrow.
If he stands up.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"January 23, 2022 at 02:16 #1579416Harsh ID. Won over £70k for connections and has a 40% strike rate over hurdles. Suspect plenty an owner wouldn’t mind a “ponce” like The Gosh.
BUY THE SUN
January 23, 2022 at 05:18 #1579420£70k? Given how frustrating the horse is, he’s probably cost the owners more than that in booze and fags alone.
