    I had expected the picture to get a bit clearer by now, but it still seems wide open, not least because I am not sure if any of the main candidates cares about winning.

    I am slightly surprised Hanagan has drifted to 8 on betfair. He is still riding a lot of horses including for Richard Fahey. Has he said he’s not interested?

    Also, given his ban, Hughes odds are quite short at around 7. Moore seems to be taking the Hannon rides at present so is doing quite well. But it is not impossible for Hughes to win if he wants to and can avoid suspensions.
