The only thing I would say negative against anyone would be the way Matt Chapman is always referring to ‘smut’ lol, it sounds as though the guy hasn’t had a decent night with a woman for a long time lol.

    I’ve heard he’s a bandit Mikky

Anyone watching ATR tonight will need the Nurofen handy, the 3 presenters are Tommo, Big Mac and Chapman

a certain horse’s attitude as "poisonous", another horse’s jumping prowess as "roughly that of a fridge freezer‘s", or a rider’s use of the whip as "akin to being prodded gently with a lolly stick"

Oh I love these! Can I nick them GC?

It was Thommo in excelsis at Rasen yesterday, the one meeting there in the year where he takes over MCing duties from Mike Vince. It’ll be a long time before anyone present there will hear the words “Whoooaaa, big fella!” so many times in one afternoon.

Available to the highest bidder! Another one I remembered yesterday was that horse X, "can no more jump fences than a puffin can play the glockenspiel". I was quite proud of that one. Sadly I think it got edited out.

……very patronising towards Willie Carson (yes, I know he often gets tongue tied), who has forgotten more about racing than she knows.

Sadly, therein lie the problem, he tends to forget the insignificant little details like horses’ names.

That one is sensational! You have given me incentive to make a few of my own up – one had to be careful here of course – they have noooooo sense of humour.

I prefer the C4 crew to the BEEB.

IMO, Jim McGrath is the best analyst on TV – while others are always flapping and yelling about something (normally Big Mac) he tends to remain calm and talk sense. He and Francombe – my favourite personality in broadcasting – work well together. Alastair Down is another top bloke – seems to love his jumping.

Why all the bad press about Tommo and Big Mac – you gotta love ’em!! Big Mac deserves a knighthood!! I just love Tommo’s zest for racing. The same applies to Wille Carson. Even though I’m not a huge Clare Balding fan, the pair of them do bounce well off each other. Wasn’t a big fan of Rishi Persad when he first arrived, but the guy’s growing on me.

Would like to see more of Alex Hammond, though.

 I remember when she was at the start before a race working for C4. It was a bit cold to say the least and Lydia was, well, poking through her top – it was so blatent. The audio feed returned to Jimbo and Francombe, who replied "Well, it certainly looks chilly at the start". Then they started chuckling to themselves – you knew exactly what he was referring to!

You seem to like everyone Bosranic  as this the most annoying thread, who don’t you like? what do you think of Matt Chapman?

Matt Chapman is the sort of guy that’s easy to dislike.

Loud, perma-tanned and…loud. He’s the complete opposite to his Get On colleague Sean Boyce – who’s quite bland and calm.

    He’s tolerable in small doses.

I like James Willoughby. I enjoy his banter and dry sense of humour.

Have to disagree with you steveh31. I think N Luck is an excellent presenter. Does his home work, has an entertaining dry wit. Himself and J Willoughby are very good together, as a presenting duo I mean not as…..
Jaysus the mans just got married and I’m nearly starting rumours here. :D
