It must be Ardross; the perfect blend of speed, stama and athleticism
March 29, 2010 at 09:13 #286214Well I said when George Washington came back from failing at stud, they should have cut him and tried him over hurdles and only half jokingly

You’ve taken the words right out of my mouth!!!
March 29, 2010 at 14:29 #286282It would have to be something like Geordieland or some other flat monkey!!
Some of these temperamental flat horses would either be killed or cured metaphorically speaking if sent over a set of hurdles!!March 29, 2010 at 14:48 #286284Persian Punch
March 29, 2010 at 14:51 #286286Imagine some of these top class miler and a half horses like Singspiel or Pilsudski running over hurdles.
It would be fantastic!!It does you good to dream sometimes!!

March 29, 2010 at 15:23 #286302I’ve got visions of Double Trigger being a class act over jumps.
March 29, 2010 at 17:54 #286337to many of these are stayers; too slow, and would they have to scope to jump a fence?
March 29, 2010 at 18:12 #286339Seargeant Cecil could have been worth following.

Remember Moonax, while talented, most certainly quirky, but too slow for 2m Hurdles.
Also, weren’t there rumours about Knifebox (John Gosden) going Hurdling? In the end, nothing materialised. Would have suited soft ground with his pronounced high knee action.
