Maybe a stupid question and maybe the wrong place for it, but alas, I have no place to turn.
As with probably 99% of the users on here, I liked to watch race replays for research and occasionally nostalgia, but I don’t know where to go for these these days.
I used to use skysports’ website, it was the easiest on my eye while looking through horses, but obviously the rights have changed and they no longer show replays.
I don’t mind paying, obviously would prefer not to, or pay as little as possible, but where on Earth do people go to watch race replays, and I don’t mean the odd ones that you can watch on different platforms, I mean comprehensively everything?! Racing Post, does their £30/month subscription include UK and Ireland races, I would bloody hope so…
Many thanks in advance!
January 22, 2019 at 16:23 #1393264Don’t know the answer Ricco, if no joy here today, I’ll move thread to Horse Racing.
Ps at a guess Bet365 via their archive system, but I don’t know if they still do that.
January 22, 2019 at 18:03 #1393271Thanks VTC. It does look like they still do, but I don’t know how much it covers and don’t really want to deposit a fiver to find out just yet…
Not sure how people can get much of an opinion on things without watching plenty of replays!
January 22, 2019 at 20:17 #1393287Don’t think you’d need money, just be logged in should be enough. Worth a try anyway.
I’ll move this for you tomorrow morning.
January 23, 2019 at 12:57 #1393323Thanks again VTC, when I tried it seemed to suggest you needed to deposit in order to set up an account, but perhaps that was just a misinterpretation by me.
Maybe this thread could expand in to recommendations as to where people go to look at advice / timing figures / replays / latest news etc etc, it’s all important stuff to a punter or spectator, would be good to know what people do and what they rate.
For me it is crucial that I can see past replays of horse’s runs, I need to get something in place in preparation for Cheltenham, that’s for sure!!
January 23, 2019 at 18:01 #1393359The old Sky Sports replays are now on the Sporting Life website, where you just need your Skybet login.
You can view today’s replays without knowing the result by clicking on Racing, then the Racecard tab.
Then search for historical replays by clicking in the calendar iconJanuary 23, 2019 at 20:53 #1393375Sporting Life website is where you will find them
January 24, 2019 at 10:17 #1393419Fantastic, cheers guys! It’s not quite as convenient a layout as skysports was, but it works and I think has all I need. Perfect!
January 24, 2019 at 15:36 #1393457It’s similar to the old ATR replays, too, in that replays from the the relevant courses are uploaded within a few minutes of the finish, though the Jockey Club courses take longer.
Racing UK used to take 30 minutes plus.
January 26, 2019 at 13:55 #1393790Yes confirm what droffats said Sporting Life website is the best for all replays and if you join their Insiders Club you can watch straight after the race and add horses to your watch list..fantastic service and free.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 7, 2019 at 13:44 #1395365Replays of Irish races are now taking much longer than when on ATR.
Seems to be a thing with RUK
February 8, 2019 at 10:18 #1396857Apologies for being a bit late to this, but having tried sourcing replays from all sorts of places and being locked out of the Racing TV site as a Virgin user, I’ve found it easier to just subscribe to the Racing Post’s service.
It’s not cheap, but it is hugely convenient compared to the alternatives.

March 13, 2019 at 18:32 #1401799How long does the Sporting life site take to put up replays?
I am still waiting for the Cheltenham 5:30 to appear.
