Hello and Happy New Year to all.

Is there a website out there where I can see a racecards opening prices with also the current odds on for all the runners in a race ?

Hear lots talking about market movers but would luke to see the whole race movements.

    Thank you all in advance

Hello sir, if you go onto oddschecker and click into race odds and then click the individual runner- you can see the history of the horses odds per bookmaker.

In the racing post results it gives you the opening price and SP but that opening price is when the oncourse / race market was formed circa 10 mins before the race I think

When I click on the individual horses, Just seems to give me only 1 price, the current odds, not the full swing.

Am I missing something ? Or do8ng something wrong

Click on horse’s name, then select ‘all history’. That should show all moves from opening quote with dates etc.

Why use Oddschecker to see one horse at time, when the Price History option on the Racing Post racecard gives you what you want.

Price History is an option on ‘Settings’ that you can opt to have or not have. You can then choose Best Odds or the prices from a specific bookmaker.

Hills and Bet365 are usually the first to price up ordinary races, the rest tend to follow their lead.

So looking at the first race at Lingfield tomorrow, the 11:58 (!), it’ll tell you that #5 has shortened significantly, whilst #2 and #4 are on the drift.

Whether this information is of any value, given the pathetic weakness of the early markets, is debateable.

I regard ‘early prices’ as an occasional opportunity rather than a serious guideline. They’re usually far shorter than I’d like but at times they offer an opportunity.
