It’s either all Hurdles cards on Heavy going – using that overwatered in summer terrain that doubles both as a Flat and Hurdles track.
Or all-Chase cards on Good, using a surface altogether more likely to have complied with any hosepipe bans in the Oadby area during the summer months.
That said, I miss the Hunter Chase meeting – I also miss the open ditch cross fence four out which has been moved to the home straight nowadays.
