Is real grass just too expensive or are they building a new AW track?
By the way, it seems to become a huge disadvantage if your horse hates the kickback when running through the final bends…. How can they do this to the old NH punter who knows Fontwell as it used to be?
Does anyone know more?

August 18, 2017 at 20:48 #1314261And what’s going to happen when we get conditions where the turf track is raceable, but the all weather isn’t? Or is the the case that it was cheaper to put down all weather stuff than doing the proper remedial work to make the bend safer?
