Its soul destroying when Cobbs have a player sent off after 10 mins, it really messes up ones bets.
So Peterborough win 2-1, Dyche gets subbed before Cobbs score their goal. Banbury play out a bore draw and Brackley have penalty shoot out win over Boreham Wood after a 3-3 draw in 90 mins.

With a home draw against Walsall January 14 its gives a great opportunity to reach the last four of the southern section.
Cobbs have already beaten Walsall in the group stages so this fixture should hold no fears. On the plus side, Walsall have an FA Cup tie away to Norwich on January 10, while Cobbs are without a fixture that weekend due to our scheduled opponents being in round 3. Hope springs eternal.

Southport’s two month unbeaten run came to an end on Boxing Day, when the Sefton derby ended in a 4-2 victory for Marine.

Despite the recent upturn, Southport are still only just above the relegation zone after only 5 wins in the first half of the season.

The second half will have to be better, starting against Curzon Ashton on Tuesday.
