Not to be for Mia’s Boy today ran very flat and had every chance, I’ll follow him to retirement though, still feel he has one win left in him before he hangs up his horseshoes.

I didn’t notice Mia’s Boy was running. oh well just have to stick a fiver down.

Didn’t think you would desert him Nathan .
Hope that fivers each way, I think he is guaranteed a place today if he runs his usual race, Class 3 with Robert Tart and 3lb taken off his back.

I emailed Shelley Dwyer a couple of weeks back last time he ran to say what a fan I was and she emailed me back with this:

… he is spoilt to bits and an absolute joy to own and ride. He enjoys racing so much and never frets, a total gem. I dread the day he says he’s had enough, but he will retire with us and maybe do some showing he loves to be centre of attention…

So nice of her to take the time to reply and wish them all well today, I’ll be rushing next door to Greggs for some celebration jam doughnuts if he comes in. Jacx

That’s great they replied Jac, really nice when they take the time and wonderful to see that he is so spoilt. You must keep backing him even if he loses another 10 and then wins at say 6/1 it will feel like 100/1 and you can spend your winnings in greggs. You know what will happen if you don’t back him? he’ll win happened to me with Premio Loco when he last won at stupid/1 odds.
