He reckons he is 65 years old today but he has been at Arsenal 67 years.

Is it not pretty much the same set of players as the last few years with nice additions (this year) and a few off loaded who don’t cut it (age or injury concerns)? And if we’ve made Top 4 pretty easily the last two years there’s no reason to believe this season will be any different. I know City, Utd & Chelsea have had strong starts, but I expect one of those to faulter in the coming months. Leicester have been worked out, so will not be able to challenge (reckon they’ll put everything into the CL), Liverpool look good, but that’s nothing new and consistency has always been their main issue (see Burnley). Spurs are solid and will mount a strong Top 4 challenge. Should be a cracking season in store. I still expect Arsenal to make Top 4. I predict they’ll finish 2nd or 3rd
I’ve been predicting Arsenal to finish outside the top 4 for the last couple of seasons, so you’ll probably right, however this season I’m feeling more confident than ever before. Chelsea and United have no Champions League football and can rotate to suit the PL season. Man City have a proper manager. Liverpool have no European football this season that is a huge bonus, yes they lost to Burnley but Arsenal normally come unstuck against some lower sides ever season. Like you say it should be a cracking season. Enjoy.

You know it’s bad when Jack Wheelchair is the best player at the club and he struggled to get into Bournemouth’s team. The writing was on the wall years ago as highlighted in this thread.
I’ve no more to say on the matter other than there’s a rumour going around that Arsenal are lining up Robbie from Arsenal Fan Tv as a replacement for Wenger…..

Wenger signed a two year contract and is bowing out a year early
He’s knows they can’t beat the Spanish side in the Europa and is relying on the players to come out with the ‘lets do it for Wenger’ crap.
His achievements for the club are fantastic but the beef I had was the backwards step they were making under his leadership which was easy to spot along time ago but the FA Cup wins and 4th place finishes papered up the cracks somewhat.
Sberry and Wenger were happy with a top 4 finish year in year out which they accomplished every season under Wengers leadership apart from these last two seasons which was further proof he had taken the club backwards. Cock up in contracts in letting the players run them down into the last year was also poor/weak on Wengers behalf.
I hope they can win the Europa for Wenger as it would be a nice ending but his team is a shadow of it’s former glories

Hmmm….. with the money they have their fortunes are on the way up…..however it is a very very tricky business appointing the right boss
Play well at OT at weekend and any views on new boss when news hit that Wenger off i said on twitter i like Fonseca of Shahktar was 50/1 but been been a move for him now to 12/1 he done well this season his team beat man city and Napoli and would knock Roma out if they play in better league but no football for 3months.Can see him going to Arsenal.
Young players like Maitland Niles in midfield and Mavropanos at the back i know Niles played games at left back but midfield his postion for him showed that on sunday he be in euro 2020 squad for England

I see they have Zeljko Buvac as current favourite. Would be a risk betting him. I think they are speculating with him being given leave at Liverpool for personal reasons. Not a great timing for L’Pool with Champions League game coming up and Chelsea at the weekend. No smoke without fire but would Arsenal appoint a number 2 with no number 1 experience.?
