Well done Sea the Stars second season and you get a classic winner over the moon!!
June 6, 2014 at 15:45 #481293Yes, its looking good for him. A really classy mare. Out of interest how many brilliant horses have ever been brilliant at stud. I wonder if we list the top 10 horses/mares of all time, how many would have went on to have stellar careers in the barns.

June 6, 2014 at 17:06 #481305SO pleased. STS is my favourite racehorse. I literally cried after watching the Arc!
Stunning filly with a real turn of foot.
June 6, 2014 at 19:47 #481319STS seems to be a promising stallion, indeed.
Another interesting filly from STS is Aga Khan’s
Vazira
. She finished second in Grade I Prix Saint-Alary over 1m2f in France.
Shamkyir
is another Aga-Khan’s horse who finished second to Gatsby in the French Derby.
June 6, 2014 at 20:41 #481329Another Sea the Stars fan here. I was only thinking after the race while I was driving somewhere how amazing it is to follow a horse like StS’s and then, just a few years later see their progeny. It’s what I like best about the Flat [well that and The Ebor].
June 7, 2014 at 03:11 #481381Nice to see sea the stars doing so well.Oxx will benefit from that success. Also one of my fav.race horse.
June 7, 2014 at 15:22 #481539The great racemare Urban Sea is in the ancestry of both the Oaks and the Derby winners this year; also Ouija Board is in the mix. Doesn’t get much better does it.
June 8, 2014 at 11:54 #481652As time goes by the better she looks.
