Hi all – hope you’ve found your way here (you clearly have).
We’ll be working to optimise the site next few days. Please report comments/glitches in this thread and we’ll get to fixing what we can as soon as we can.
I do not like the new look, the new format has totally destroyed my daily post on the AW Championship,
please remove it as I will not be updating it anymore.I had to change my password to get back in today (no idea why) and I’m having trouble posting my competition as all my
past posts are messed up where I have highlighted etc.Miss the old format which was much friendlier in it’s layout (don’t like the red).
I know how much work has gone into this but please say all this will be put right before Cheltenham.
JacAlso no ‘Preview’ before you submit and will we have the PM option anymore?
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...not been a regular on here for years so if a browse through the pages reveals clever, intelligent and witty comments and conversations, I may pop back again….and seeing that it’s my birthday I shall share my cake with everyone !!

I'd like to live in a place where they cordon off swans...As a middle aged four eyes, I’m struggling to read the miniscule font.
I'd like to live in a place where they cordon off swans...First impression poor. Font far too small. Red the wrong colour. Difficult to navigate. Likely to deter people rather than encourage more comment. Why change something that didn’t need fixing? Or am I being a Luddite?

The font size on this or any other website can be increased via the standard Windows keyboard shortcut of CTRL +. Whether this should need to be resorted to each time you visit is perhaps another matter.
My concern is whether the default font size as it currently stands, plus the preponderance of black text on a vast, stinging white or light grey background, are both DDA, W3C or Bobby compliant.
Personally I can’t credit that they are, and anecdotally my eyes are absolutely killing me now.

I was confused because it still says “login” at the top of the page but actually I was already logged in. My username etc is at the bottom and I hadn’t scrolled down that far so didn’t realise.
Prefer the Racing News section at the top, as it was before, but that’s just me.

Another issue. Unless I’m missing it, I can no longer see the little marker to the right of each thread that indicates whether one has read up to the last post in that thread. Would be handy to see that back, please.

Only there are loads of recent threads missing. Lays and plays are missing virtually everything. Midnight Club has gone from systems and Test your own system from there aswell. Competition’s are missing Pat’s recent Ante Post thread and roll of honour. Can you Kick it from Sports cant be kicked.Charles Darwin to conquer the World
A gentle suggestion from one who spends a good part of his day stopping a public-facing university library website from falling over; was there perhaps the possibility to do a soft launch of the new TRF site in beta form, whilst at the same time keeping the outgoing one on-stream until all outstanding issues were addressed with its replacement?
I’d like to be more positive about what I’m seeing so far, but I’m finding it a little tough going.
The promised increase in speed and responsiveness is definitely apparent, however, so thanks very much at least for that.

Another thing I can’t see is a Quote option in each reply to a thread – is this on its way? Dear old Gingertipster in particular will have a lot of copy-pasting on his hands the next time he wants to address a previous posting in-line otherwise…
