thanks paul, i looked at that but unless i’m being dim it doesn’t show allowances for 3yos and older horses over 6f

i’m just wondering what sort of allowance to expect older horses might have to give to 3yos over 6f at this time of year ?

According to my copy of the scale, it’s 6lb up to and including today and 5lb for the rest of July

The table is slightly confusintg because under each month, it erroneously says Jan 1-15 Jan 16-31 when it should say Feb 1-15 etc. What Andrew Hughes says tallys with the info in the table. FWIW, Timeform only allow 3-y-o’s 4 lb at this time of year.

thanks paul, andrew, david – i was also being dim and not reading it properly, serves me right for losing my timeform copy, i’ll have to buy another one now

anyway, worse case scenario 6lbs, best 4 and 5 pounds for sex (bet max wishes he could say that) maybe 4 at this time of year

the picture of the cunning plan is forming in my head for my latest voluntary donation to the big 3

John Whitley gives 3yos 7lbs over 6f for the second half of July.
