• Horses with claimers on board struggle (1/61)<br>
• Mares have never won the race<br>
• Best NOT to have course form<br>
• Need to have won in at least one of last 6 outings<br>
• No more than 20 career starts<br>
• Should be lightly raced this season<br>
• At least 6 career starts<br>
• Horses that have apperaed in Pierse Hurdle do well<br>
• Lightly weighted horses are generally beater<br>

<br>This leaves 5 horses

There are some more perhaps coincidental stats

• No runner up from its previous race has ever won<br>
• Pipe has a good record<br>
• Henderson has never won the race<br>
• Horses coming from a novice race are 1/43<br>
• Horses coming from a big field is a negative (1/55)<br>

This leaves us with 2 horses

Desert Air 25/1       <br>Only Vintage 33/1    

However Two Miles West and Fair Question both only failed on one count and at big prices may be worth backing as well.

Therefore for the Coral Cup:

1pt ew Desert Air (25/1) <br>1pt ew Only Vintage (33/1)<br>1pt Two Miles West 22/1<br>1pt Fair Question 18/1

The other’s apart from the bumper seem easier to me.
