PMSL Happy Jack. You can’t say things like that!!
Anyway, I am sure Jonesy will be delighted to know that Gigginstown Boy has doubts about his credentials….
February 11, 2006 at 10:41 #68866Sorry, I was referring to the first draft before it was heavily edited/censored etc. It is in fact an excellent publication and I would heartily recommend it to anyone
Have you ordered your copy yet Smithy? I have.
February 11, 2006 at 11:10 #68867All i said i wouldn’t buy it. Thats all.
February 11, 2006 at 11:13 #68868I won’t be ordering my copy just yet Happy Jack – however, i believe there are a couple of very interesting snippets in the Aintree Guide this time round :)
February 11, 2006 at 13:26 #68869Definitely worth buying. I’ve ordered mine just for the Eurovision preview.

Meow!
February 11, 2006 at 18:20 #68871You misunderstand me Mr Brady. Paul Jones is something of a Eurovision wiz – he tipped Ukraine at 14-1 two years ago, Greece last year and narrowly missed out on 80-1 Belgium a few years ago. I’ve ordered three copies of the Cheltenham guide (‘cos I know he’s hard up) and have subscribed to his email service.
February 11, 2006 at 18:24 #68872In the absence of any smilies above, I can only presume that what you have posted is genuine so I apologise for my remark (although why you need 3 copies is beyond me).
David is fine by the way, Andrew.
February 12, 2006 at 07:01 #68873David it is. Just buy it, it’s very good :)
February 12, 2006 at 08:13 #68874Much as I like reading premium racing analysis, buying it’s a bit old hat for me. I prefer trying to blag my info from Mounty.
February 13, 2006 at 08:20 #68875Rory, one day you’ll be rich…and then I’ll inovice you
March 5, 2006 at 17:06 #68876I received my copy a few days back. Must say, a great read, very informative and rather than point you in the direction of the winner, it’s main benefit is in trying to eliminate horses unlikely to win.
Good buy.
March 5, 2006 at 18:19 #68877Same here…
First time for me and the good thing is that any trends are justified and explained. But theres a lot more to it than that
Its an entertaining read too
March 5, 2006 at 20:09 #68878[It’s a bit odd..the first mention of trends on here and everybody slates them]
No EC…. I think your trends they dont like
SHL
March 5, 2006 at 20:28 #68879b*****ks
Some trends are useful …some are emaningless
Trends need an explanation and logic. For instance
On Betfair one painful poster kept on and on that monker couldnt win GC because he finished second in KGV and they never blah balh
Logic please?
March 5, 2006 at 20:55 #68880Whether or not it stands up clivex, can you really not see the basic logic in that argument?
March 5, 2006 at 21:04 #68881That doesnt make sense
So if thirds had done better in the GC, then we should back them instead? Its nonsense…
Ig Monker had got up a neck his chances of a gc would increase how many fold?
