We’ll get our money back with Peacock Thursday.I think Peacock runs on Saturday instead Nathan. He’s jocked up in the Fairway Stakes at Newmarket over 10f on Saturday and is no longer in the field for the Heron Stakes, where we may see Stoute’s Consort and Gosden’s Johnny Barnes cross swords with Guineas flop Flaming Spear.

Yeah, I noted it down on the Sandown Thursday thread in the racing section Steve. It would be my preferred choice the 10f race as Peacock seems to take an absolute age to get into gear but runs them down and does his work late on. He may just be a bit lazy like Windshear but worth a go at the 10f and possibly get a good price against Nafaqa who I think Peacock has the beating of.

Had Peacock not run and been placed behind Golden Horn last time out he would be about 4/1 for this and we would be laughing our nuts off, as it is we have to take the 11/8 on tomorrows winner. The 10f will play to his late running on tendencies. Nafaqa is a horse I like and if he settles and doesn’t pull away his chance he’ll be a danger as his attribute of running too keenly cost him dear of a decent run in the Dante, another under rated horse imo but I’m taking Peacock as the more straight forward and one which continues to progress to take the money.

I don’t foresee Moore being to worried about this, he will have enough big money races to keep himself amused with. Hughes on the other hand will hang up his stirrups at the end of the season and if he is still in with a shout which I would imagine to be the case by the time Glorious Goodwood has been and gone then he will surely knuckle down to the task of finishing his career as the champion jockey.

I see Coral have fallen for Hannon’s yarn. If anything it will further help Hughes cause in landing the championship as when Pethers Moon is travelling around the universe taking in all the international planet races our Richard will be home banging in the winners at places like Lingfield and Kempton. You have to ignore Sole Power’s run in Ireland, even Hughes wrote in his RP column before the race the horse would not win, it was almost as if it was a training session for the main event. 5f at Ascot where they go like the clappers is right up his street so I’ve taken the 5’s as they are disappearing across the board.

The only thing stopping Ivawood winning the Jersey is if Hannon decides to take on Gleaneagles again.

Richard Hughes is too big a price to ignore for the top jockey at Royal Ascot.

Tiggy Wiggy has had a decent break since her fine effort in the guineas, she showed all her speed still exists and although that’s not the perfect preparation they have had plenty of time to look after her. Limato is a danger, not so keen on Wesley Wards horse and have stuck my neck out win only.

Well they still haven’t put Peacock in a decent race but at least we have a price this time. 6/1 is big he’d be that in my eyes in the Eclipse against Golden Horn. Time Test was good at Newbury the other week and will fill the runners up spot for the forecast. Stravagante is interesting but I’d have the other two ahead of him. Disego and Nafaqa are also in the field and have beat Peacock previously but Peacock has been given his trip and has progressed past them although Nafaqa is better than he has shown this season and could fill a place.
