    GAULOIS
Holds on to win at newton Abbott.
Looked like winning by twenty lengths but struggled alone having set the pace and almost caught out by having the donkey work to do.
Jean Jeanie almost caught him on the line.
But the Nicholls runner gets off the mark having set the fractions which won him the race in the end.

No harm in backing the favourite here
    GAASSEE
    Win
    at York.
    1.50
Has won by a total of over 21 lengths in three races. Haggis has this one running off 9 stone.
Looks potentially well in if not too novicey.

    Win
    CUA BALA
    Each way
Eighty eight was a second placed much improved behind stablemate knightallia and both were given hefty weight hikes.
CUA BALA is the highest drawn highest weighted runner here and has the help of Colin Keane.
He has collaborative form with princess raj who is a non runner and was drawn alongside.

Has a top weights chance at Gowran park
Has won well two from last three runs at dundalk and the handicapper has taken no chances raising the horse by 15 pounds.
Well handicapped on English form but may need decent firm ground as he has drifted markedly.

    Worcester hunter chase

    SMITHSCORNER
Is the outsider in this match bet with the favourite rated five pounds superior.
Smithscorner was a long way behind on hunter chase debut recently. Chase form though is good and worth a small stakes win even though he is expected to lose heavily here.
    SMITHSCORNER
    Win…..

    LEADING THEATRE
    Win
For Fergal O’Brien looks a very strong shout to win here on hurdles debut.
Her rivals have experience ahead of her but she has been firmly prepared for this race winning twice in bumpers here, before going on to place in listed bumper and takes a big drop in class. Add to that a previous career in points and the necessary experience over fences should count.

    York 5.15

The first five stalls have provided the winner of this race for several years.
Partly due to the perceived draw bias and partly due to participating numbers.
The occupiers of said stalls are
    KINGS CROWN
    THUNDER MOOR
    ZEEBARDAY
    TALENTED

    MILLION REASONS
I’m not convinced this horse has been running entirely on his merits and it is Worth a small each way here. David Evans runner has shown real ability on the all weather in much the way Rohaan did before running into a brick wall prior to transitioning to turf and I expect the same here in due course.

No trouble for the Irish raider there.
Put to work under pressure and Elliott has supreme confidence in our best available jockey to him and his choice is telling.
Enke Flacke wins by a good ten lengths…

    Comments from his previous race
“slowly away and in rear, closer over 3f out, not clear run over 2f out, switched left and headway over 1f out, ridden and ran on well final furlong, just failed”
An excellent performance which he can hopefully build on here….

Another good winner they are not all the big priced ones. Easy and settled this once out in the open. No traffic issues and once upsides put the race to bed pulling readily away. Massive rule four as a late withdrawal took a rival out of the field. A very good winner all the same.

    SAVVY KNIGHT
    7 pm
    EIGHT OF DIAMONDS
    Both have chances here.
Eight of diamonds the only runner with the distance.
Savvy knight looks to also have strong claims at the weights.
Win singles and a double for the SPC woods yard.
    Perth 8.10
There is also a hunter chase at Perth tonight
TAKETHEPUNISHMENT was highly impressive on chase debut and won by 19 lengths last month.
He has had over a month to recover, and is even better treated for this assignment, given that he gives weight to only one horse. Provided he doesn’t bounce he has every chance of another strong run……

    CRYSTAL CASQUE
    FANGORN
    Both win

A tricky one to start with an apprentice race.
    CRYSTAL CASQUE
Is the only course winner and in doing so beat Aramis grey
That horse won the other day and Crystal Casque has got back to that mark.
FANGORN had the handling of Hollie Doyle in going down by half a length last run and in this sphere has a favourite’s chance.
It is an apprentice race so keep stakes low….
