    Glan

    All win
If you are not backing each way you can back three in a race.

Eskylane looked something special when winning last time and beat magic tricks as well as hearts or trump’s did here last year…..

Could be a prep for punchestown let’s see..

    New stable for this runner.

Good runner in Ireland up to mark of 75.
Changed yards twice after one run in Ireland.
Went to new yard in England, regular competitor in class four and five.
Won class five off 67 and rose in ratings but yard have sent this one on back on winning mark and he drops in class again to top weight in a class six.
Stable 311 days without a winner but other runner third today here.

    GOLDEN VALOUR
    Win
    JUNOESQUE

Both have slid down ratings down to previous winning marks.
Golden valour Irish import who ran well in snatches at Dundalk last seen in a decent contest four places behind yesterday’s second place RAZDAN.
Junoesque an in and out performer who will go off a huge price and may be better backing for a place.

    DEHRADUN
    Win
Carefully considered and you take the associated risks when you follow my selections..
New yard and the form this one has shown compares favourably with that of the principals. The other runners especially The Pink Un have gone on to do great things.
Main niggle is the 769 day absence.
Might just need this run but the yard he has gone to is a top one and more than capable of readying one after a break.
IF IT IS A MAJOR WORRY, BACK DEHRADUN TO PLACE.

recovery mission for a horse prominent last time at Cheltenham but who didn’t act on the watered tacky ground and was pulled up
Already won on heavy and was primed to go well at Cheltenham. IF Gordon Elliott has been able to stoke this one up again should run well off a rating of 139. Some good runs in initial chases, behind some decent sorts.

    AU FLEURON
    Could be thrown in here.
Given that he has run well behind Banbridge twice now.
Latterly in the martin Pipe at Cheltenham and before in a novice hurdle at Navan in January, where he got to within 2.25 lengths of the Cheltenham winner ( giving 3 pounds) without a rating.
He actually made his handicap debut off 137 at Cheltenham and now gets to race off his original rating of 132.
Why would Elliott run him now so soon after Cheltenham otherwise?
There is a nice prize to run for here off this mark and he will inevitably be raised after today.
BOIS DE CLAMART is the one to back each way as he is rated a stone higher in chases after a wide margin win in that sphere.

Only six runners here and Milton Harris’ runner has scored and run at a much higher level in the past.
Is back down below last winning mark over hurdles.
Scored off 135 over fences for the Skeltons and can creep into this late on.

French newcomer who debuts for Jp Macmanus and the naughty Jonjo O’Neil!
Listed class winner who beat skycutter well last year. This race was won by a similar rated runner last year and looks winnable by this runner if handling the firmer going.

    BOIS DE CLAMART
    And
    GRAND PARADIS

    Velvet Elvis
    Smoking Gun
    Lord Lariat
    All each way.
Smoking Gun at the foot of the handicap and the only runner with course and distance.
Aimed at this race by Gordon Elliott and a good prep for this at Cheltenham. Lord Lariat from last year’s winning yard and velvet Elvis a progressive lightly raced type who could hurdle his way into a place.

    ICARE ALLEN
    CARRIG SAM
    JANIDIL
All have strong claims at Fairyhouse this afternoon in their respective races.
ICARE ALLEN had no chance in the triumph hurdle but brings good form here.
CARRIG SAM remains unbeaten under rules.
JANIDIL ran well and carries a 25 pound superior rating to any opponent in his race.

    Silent revolution
    2PM
    Chepstow
is the LAY of the day.
LUTTERAL LAD (WIN) rated 135 very hard to oppose.
Silent revolution pulled up in the supreme novice last time, but was beaten by one of the lesser lights here in a bumper. Huge drop in class but easy to oppose the Nicholls horse.
Charlie’s Glance gets a seven pound pull with lutteral lad.
    CHARLIE’S GLANCE
    Win without lutteral lad.
