Without a doubt other runners have stronger claims than the selections but these have a squeak on the draw and weights.April 6, 2022 at 13:13 #1591398Giant steps wins from stall 13 and the jockey wins for the second year on the trot.

7lb claimer on board to cover the weight rise….April 6, 2022 at 14:56 #1591424Well the newcomer went well there.
There is a thread on Betfair dedicated to stable switchers and while there are so many changing yards, it throws up winners at big prices. May put the list up and then look for those little clues….This runner was on the list. The only clue was the bottom weight (which meant a stone plus in hand) and the four furlong step up in trip, oh and he was backed in from 66s into 22s…LEOPARDSTOWN

BOUNDLESS OCEAN
Sets a good marker here and will be a very good yardstick for runners with classic ambition.
None more so than
NEWFOUNDLAND
Aidan O’Brien bloods his full brother to the brilliant Snowfall and he may be good enough to win on debut to set tongues wagging for the Derby.
Boundless Ocean just failed to win on reappearance recently by a narrow margin and likely to go well here off a rating of 99 down from 100, but that rating should not be enough to stop a derby horse if ready to go.
Ballydoyle have been struggling this last year but are making big noises about NEWFOUNDLAND.
