    IGRAINE
    Win
    (Winning margin 5+ lengths @ 7/1)
Showed up well in two outings so far.
Including when holding off Brazil for third.

Subsequently in contention when again running well behind Helios before finishing fifth.

Likely to be very hard to beat under JJ Sleven for Joseph O’Brien in this much lesser maiden hurdle on better ground.
Form from the two races well advertised at Cheltenham since, with Brazil winning the Boodles in some style.
Stables only runner since winning at Cheltenham.

    GRIEVETA
Impressive french winner disappointing on stable debut but was ambushed by ready runners from good yards and improvement likely with Harry Cobden taking the reins if ridden with more restraint.

    ADVANCED VIRGO E/W
    GIBRALTAR
    CAYD BOY
    Combination trifecta
AV Beat CAYD BOY in a grade A hurdle at Fairyhouse. Was in receipt of well over a stone and meets that rival on levels now.
Good ground and heavy winner. Should relish this trip and good chance of upsetting the odds here again despite the weight pull. Cayd Boy may prefer easier going.

    Chepstow

    MR GLASS
    Win
Won four on the bounce including latest a novice hurdle before battling third behind Constitution Hill in the Tolworth. previously two bumpers and a maiden hurdle wins.
No suprise to see him struggle on handicap debut latest. Back in novice company on decent ground and extended trip likely to suit.

    Round up
IGRAINE a most unlucky loser caught on line after final fence error. Went down by a nose.
GRIEVETA highly impressive winner and looks good prospect after a good return to form.
    ADVANCED VIRGO E/W (WON 40/1)
    GIBRALTAR
    CAYD BOY

    Trifecta paid over £60.

Will love going back to the extended three miles.
Still below his highest mark and hated the shorter trip last time, even though it was three miles. All wins 26 furlongs. Gary Moore yard in good order both sides of the festival.

    Newton Abbott
    WEST To THE BRIDGE
    Win
Stepping up in trip and looks to have the scope to do so in bid for four timer. Although the Nicholls horse showed plenty in the first race at Hereford, the other horse went past him as if not there and even when idling in front was not passed, meaning the yard is not out of the woods yet.

I think some odds compilers will be seeking alternative employment
West to the Bridge available at better odds in running on what is effectively A RECORDING of a race even after the main rival has all but pulled up!! 13/8.
    Won 11/10.

    DIAMOND ROSE
    PLACE/WIN
    Gets my vote.
Receiving weight in buckets all round here.
Hasn’t won a hurdles race for over two years though. Well backed here and has a big chance for all that a case could be made for all five.

Horse is well in here and only gives weight to two rivals.
If he can win also worth backing him to do it by 5 lengths or better.

Just gets home by the look of it!!

    Dundalk 5pm
    COLLECTIVE POWER
To place ( two places evens)
    Famous last words
But he’s been in outstanding form and placed four from five runs since winning here. Needs all the breaks and my selection is a place bet (evens to two places.)
He really ought to frank his own form and win now, but this is Dundalk and a bad run can come from nowhere….

    Delighted with that final bet.
Paid handsomely to round off a good run of selections which began with the soul selection coming up trump’s. At last the bookie is paying me. Bank manager is pleased too.
I’m leaving this one myself but there may be more to come from
The virginian 5.30 Dundalk may well place having won here last time.

Aggagio, West to the Bridge winners
    With collective Power placing second.
Another good winner and big forecast of over £30 and a 10/1 winner for the soul selection.

    The Virginian
    Was 4th @ 13/2
    With several playing four places.
Trampas would have been delighted with that.

Russian runner who is 3/3 keeps running into contention from impossible positions and would be interesting if able to compete on equal terms. Top jockey on board but this much harder than other races to date.
    SEKIFU
    Win
Is the saver, put up a good run in a graded race latest.
I’VE JUST SEEN THEY ARE PAYING FIVE PLACES SO SEKIFU FIVE PLACES….

Roger Varian has won this race three times in recent years.

Massive weight to carry here and up against it.
But well clear of the field on ratings and has done it before at a good level. Trainer’s only runner over fences today. Two in bumpers.
