Given trainer Rothwells run ins with the stewards over schooling (the same runner copping a 60 day ban -to go with a 45 ban previously- yesterday) McAlpine will have had plenty in hand which further strengthens Hart of Steels claims here.
The drop in trip is no inconvenience and may well prove harder for his opposition.
