Hard going today
But winning forecast at Bangor.Curragh 3.30

Baydar each way
Has a 768 day absence to overcome.
Dropped Over 30 lbs for last win and claim puts him 40 lbs well in but hasn’t won for ever. Five or six years to be precise and given time off will need the run here but must have been doing something for last two years…….
Will be of interest in next few runs

Lunar Display
Winflat debut for capture the drama
Lunar Display has his form franked in many places and stable could not be in better shape.Race lost by mistake made by jockey lacking awareness. Form there for all to see. Ban likely for jockey but no need to go mad over it despite losing cash. We all make mistakes.

May represent some fair value against the odds on favourite.
Shown up well in two juvenile hurdle races in France. Makes debut here for top yard headgear on.Juvenile hurdle
Fakenham
Aliomaana win
Game display last time after debut last fence fall when in with a winning chance.
Perfect reply when routing field with 29 length win. Hard to oppose here under a penalty in ordinary looking field. Targeting Aintree race in future.
Tiki Fire each way
This race has been won bi-anually by a trainer called King. Alan two years ago, Neil two years earlier and Alan two years previously. Neil’s turn this year.Dundalk 1530
Dalvay
Win
Revised to each way
Is the best rated of these by some way and the booking of Dylan Brown Mcgonagle looks significant.
Has to give weight away all round though.
Hogan/ Macaulay have several runners here not least Malaysian. There are five runners in all which means the pace can be controlled to suit whichever is the favoured horse. Leadership race for Ger Lyons is very well treated with a ten pound claimer on board.
Dalvay was third in the 50k Ballysax here last year off a rating of 99 behind a horse who’d just raced fifth at Royal Ascot. Cheekpieces go on for first time. Been racing over longer trips since joining yard ( from Hogan) including a hurdle race where he was noted jumping poorly but will strip fitter for those runs….
Hard to second guess this outfit but going on horses ability and application of headgear/ switch to correct distance/ jockey booking and best rating place more than likely if this is stable’s intention. Little doubt that they have a huge edge in these races….Was available at 28/1 this morning certain to remain an outsider.
October 28, 2021 at 10:08 #1564850Somehow I missed the winner at Dundalk’s opener all the more galling that I had a thread on the horse in question last month (which I will bump again). Although the thread yielded the horse breaking his maiden last month I’d have liked to have bagged the follow up win.
The stable had at least five runners in the race yesterday along with supporting players as I said it is hard to second guess this operation.October 28, 2021 at 15:12 #15649005.20
