Swerved a grade 1 hurdle yesterday to run at wolves?
Clear top rated by five pounds here.
Never run on the all weather.
Fifth to Corebus in a group 3. Raced in Ireland mainly and could be anything but huge ability shown over two miles and will get this trip well.December 30, 2022 at 18:26 #16289266.30

Win.
is hard to oppose.
Tempered though by the fact he has never backed up a win.
Won at the Curragh ( back in the day) and was due to go up to 74.
So has been up there above and beyond what is needed here.

was left clear a long way out and betting stayed open beyond the final fence at 4/11 which was a major boost to finances.

HE’S OUR STAR. 11/1 (Alexander)December 30, 2022 at 20:15 #1628940Great win with Scriptwriter 11/1 Sam.
I was certain he would be favourite and didn’t back any horses today.
Been laid.low with the Flu which hasn’t helped ..
Just got my 3 for Lingfield tomorrow for the comp and hoping TADREEB will bounce back in the 2.05..
Well done with your Alexander system Sam it all seems to be falling into place.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...December 30, 2022 at 20:25 #1628943Thanks Triptych. I just need to land those tricasts next. Confidence is returning now.
Yes, I was surprised at the price of 11/1 too. The proverbial group horse in a handicap.
Good luck with Tadreeb tomorrow.
Hope you feel better soon. The colds are back big time everywhere.December 30, 2022 at 23:05 #1628980You keep banging them in Sam, a treble earlier then an 11/1 winner.
That’s class mate
December 31, 2022 at 09:12 #1629021Thanks Big G,
I hope you caught some of them!!7343/1
is the accumulated odds of the four winners at Wolverhampton. As for the odds of all of the winners yesterday doesn’t bear thinking!!
Obviously I don’t put up selections until five minutes or so before the off so I’m not making any wild claims. That is the way I race read, but if I can do it five minutes before why not five hours?
It would be good one evening to try and put them up in a collective and see what happens, but for now the model works so no need to break it.
I think that TADREEB in the 2.05 is a decent pick from triptych I’ve given the race the once over and it is a tricky race given the draw and big field.
Tadreeb is a class two winner and both of those runs have come at lingfield last year.
The horse he beat in one those races tinker toy went on to win a class 1 off a rating of 96.
The other runner I like in the race is SHALLOW HAL at a big price. Emperor sprit looks to be coming back to hand as well and could be in the mix under Hollie Doyle and gets a place in the combination forecast.

To win by five lengths or more.
Even that price is odds on and one never knows for sure what to expect from Nicky Henderson runners as everything has to be perfect and woe betide the clerk of the course if he hasn’t watered.

Can’t be a bad 28/1 shot on reappearance given he’s won his last four races.

HIT MAC
Win
Ridden by William Buick carries my favours.
This one is a maiden but has gone close on recent runs. Every chance in what will be a challenging finale. There is lots of form which gives hit Mac a chance here and some results from the Wolverhampton meeting yesterday collaborate this.My main bet of the day has turned out to be Newcastle united to score three goals today. Given my rubbish punting today will be a nil all draw.
