Was there, he basically had a run, neither impressive or disappointing. The ground was fairly bad. He looked OK walking around beforehand. Saw nothing that would be considered a negative.
The two positives were Johann Strauss who did finish his gallop well and was one of the horses least advanced in his coat. Also liked Geoffrey Chaucers gallop and his demeanor beforehand – a Montjeu who looked like he knows his job and is not a head case.
Even O’Brien’s runners on the day looked like they would come on significantly for the run. As a whole would say they are less advanced than last year at this time.
