Hello,
We, a team of four students at the University of Twente (the Netherlands) have been working on a project to create a virtual horse race reporter who comments on virtual horse races.
To evaluate the results of our project we need feedback from people who have experience with horse racing, people like you! We would be very thankful if you would help us by watching the videos and filling in the enquiry.
To get to the enquiry and see the results of our project, click here. It takes about 10 minutes to watch the videos and to fill in the enquiry.

Nice touch, getting Dougie Fraser to do the commentaries!

I nominate
Noddy – In the studio
Betty Boop – Link woman at the course
Bill & Ben – Race commentators
Pluto – to run on the course and chase the horses

<br>Thommo’s commentaries are pretty unreal, if that counts.

September 27, 2007 at 17:29 #116761We’ve recently finished a new version of our system, which we have demonstrated on the international conference on Intelligent Virtual Agents 2007 (IVA07) and actually won two prizes with!
We would be very grateful if you are willing to review the new version. This would enable us to report on our progress and have an indication of how our system holds up to the opinion of informed horse racing enthusiasts. The enquiry can be found here:

If you want more information about us or the system it is available at http://www.queequee.net/deira
