Value Is EverythingDecember 11, 2008 at 00:24 #195990To return to the matter in hand, I look forward to cormack tracking down DMcK to inform him that he has swept the board in this particular category.
At least he should have a phone number/tipping line number to contact him through.
December 11, 2008 at 02:40 #196015Fist – yes
Pru – I’m hoping the BBC will claw back the deficit. I think Willie C should be the one to recieve the bad news in the event that they do. I’d rather fight him the CB at any rate.
December 11, 2008 at 23:52 #196265The BBC for it’s Royal Ascot "Fashion Show" and that muppet they have who looks down his nose at everyone (dont know his name & dont want to)

December 15, 2008 at 00:49 #196961Have some bottle, Royal Ascot.
Get some scouse courage down you, Aintree. And get rid of the BBC once and for all.
Once the idol of the world’s broadcasters, the flagship, the BENCHMARK, now an indecipherable mess attached to a brilliant website.
Their attitude to our magnificent sport is beyond redemption.
And what chance did we get to disseminate our point of view?
Why didn’t they call me? Sky have. I only have to leave my laptop to mash a pot of tea and Sky call me. Where was my consultation?
I’m a licence payer: why did "Aunty" unilaterally decide to mortgage the future of BBC sports coverage in a huge bet on one of the most tedious spectacles ever inflicted on a TV audience, a mind-freezing spectacle which makes staring at a concentric imperfection on a strip of laminate flooring seem like a sexual experience.
Why did they do that?
Three and half million people in this country are thought to be enthusiasts of horse racing. Were any of THEM consulted? Where was the focus group? Where was my e-mail questionnaire?
Yeh, inclusive my fat a**e. Please keep feeding our hollow-bellied beast and don’t ask too many awkward questions.
F1? FFS What IS all that about? I remember a geezer in a suit earholing me about the Hamilton twins or something in a bar in Dewsbury and the next thing I know I woke up at two in the morning in hospital suffering from Boredom Poisoning.
The BBC. A 1-9 shoo-in for villain of the year surely. OUT! OUT! OUT!
(rant over)

…as evinced by surely its coverage thereof in the Sport Personality of the Year tonight being over and done inside of a minute, surely the least time devoted to it ever.
