High draws have been the order for this in recent years but soft ground may add a different dimension to things,
I hope so as I have plumped for Soggy Boggy ‘Baradar’ at 13/2.
If he’s to bag a big race or two then strike while the iron is warm to hot and the ground is soft. Boughey himself is in a rich vein of form so he’s ticking the boxes after his excellent third in the Lincoln.I did like the look of ‘Kingdom Come’ for Clive Cox as the form of his latest victory on the AW looks smart but the trainer is just going through a bit of a sticky patch and with the horse yet to prove he handles the conditions, I’ll ignore him/have a fiver on just in case.
Baradar for the W.
