Has the potential to be a cracker.
I see Turgenev is jocked up already, i think he could be up there with the best 2yos we’ve seen this year. Obviously he needs to show that now + at 9/2 he’s short enough.
Kadar is entered again, will they ever run him? Seems to be living on his debut…
Magna Grecia and Phoenix of Spain are the standard setters and the former is 5/2 and probably rightly so. Highly promising in defeat LTO, they ran to a high timefigure.
Kick On is jocked up also, with Kieran O’Neill on board, i was quietly impressed by him last time and he could be good as well. He looks the JG second string!
Will hold fire on this for now, i would love to see Turgenev romp home, but at 9/2 i couldn’t back him..

October 23, 2018 at 17:22 #1378488PHOENIX OF SPAIN for me at 11/2 !
Has solid form and second last time out to TDH will do for me!!
October 25, 2018 at 11:36 #1378605I’ll just take a chance on Great Scot here each way
October 25, 2018 at 14:06 #1378620This has the makings of a fantastic race still.
Kick On and Raakib Alhawa are two at bigger prices that have won their maidens, and looked pretty decent.
I probably won’t bet in the race even though i rate Turgenev so highly. There is an abundance of potential.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!October 25, 2018 at 15:30 #1378632I’ve taken the 16.5/1 Kick On. He’s obviously a second-string for Gosden but imo there shouldn’t be as much between his pair. Do like the favourite, Magna Grecia has undoubted potential and could be Coolmore’s Guineas horse. Ran well on only second start to be a neck second to Persian King in the Autumn Stakes.
Value Is EverythingOctober 25, 2018 at 22:45 #1378658Circus Maximus 16/1 EW for me.
Around 3 lengths behind Magna Grecia in the Autumn Stakes, although wouldn’t have won would have been a bit closer if not for being impeded by the winner and having won on heavy will likely be more at home on the softish ground than his stablemate.
Wouldn’t be the first time an O’Brien second string caused a shock.
October 26, 2018 at 20:46 #1378692Raakib Alhawa for me at 16-1 e/w for a good punt too. Looked a very good horse indeed to me, winning a conditions stakes on his first start. It was an impressive debut, against horses whom had all raced before. He recorded a better RPR first time out, than the favourite did. One’s 11-8, one’s 16-1. Mmmmmmm. I think this lad could still improve bundles from first to second run. He’s bred very nicely indeed, if he was trained by Gosden or O’Brien, he’d be a 6-1 shot or less.
October 27, 2018 at 13:21 #1378834I’m on a couple of outsiders, Kick On 16.5/1 and Dashing Willouby @ 33/1 together with the favourite 15/8.
Value Is EverythingOctober 27, 2018 at 14:46 #1378849Wow, Raakib Alhawa into 7-1. That’s a fair ole shift in a G1 race. Very happy with my 16’s.
October 27, 2018 at 15:56 #1378862I’m jumping on the band wagon a bit with Kick On, but 18/1 e/w with PP
is just too tempting
October 27, 2018 at 16:05 #1378865Well today has been a rubbish day for me. By far my biggest bet is running in this though. I had a max bet on this thing at 16-1 in two separate bets. An hour ago I was being offered double nigh on for one of the bets on cash back. In fact, I am again now as I type this.
I’ve let it run, I think he’s a good horse, and 16-1 was an incredible price.
Come on Andrea!!
October 27, 2018 at 19:30 #1378871Happy with the result – Magna Grecia winning. But looking forward – they finished a bit bunched and they can’t be all good.
