My mate Deaf Jon is in hospital, he backs her blind. Hopefully that will have cheered him up somewhat

March 17, 2026 at 16:54 #1760317Oh no. Do you still have that pic of me you and Deaf John Nathan ( I think he was in it; maybe not?). I’m so sorry to hear that he’s gone. His name always reminded me of another racing chum from the past that I used to meet up with at Uttoxeter; Old Alf. I haven’t heard from my friend that was at Cheltenham that year. She usually messages me to wish me a happy Cheltenham week so I’m a bit worried.
March 17, 2026 at 16:54 #1760318Sorry to hear that, Nathan.
While it was indeed heartwarming to see Venetia Williams have a winner on the main stage after such a difficult season, the only false note was finding out Charlie Deutsch broke the rules:

March 17, 2026 at 17:02 #1760322Sorry to hear about your friend Nathan, I know you’d mentioned him on here a bit over the years
March 17, 2026 at 17:05 #1760324Thanks guys
Moehat, unfortunately not, I may have downloaded it onto here years ago but Tinypic photos online have all gone now, and it would have been on an old pc photos long gone now too. I’m sure it may have been on an old fashion camera but that got stolen years ago on a day trip to Weston Super Mare.. It was deffo Jon though, he loved nothing more than chatting to the ladies

April 9, 2026 at 21:33 #1762588Season looks over for her. Not many entries, the wrong ground and the same poor form as throughout the season. Just operating at 8% which is about half the strike rate we’re used from her.
