I backed it at Aintree, was I Wrong?
FTO.Should he have won?
What about VDW’s comments about FTO horses that had finished Either 1st or 2nd on the last two runs of the previous season?
Watch them run "especially if they come second"
I did watch Best Mate run second at Huntingdon once, a race he should have won, I battered BM next time at a better price.
What will VDW’ers be doing tomorrow?
I watched the race at Aintree with Bishop and Mrs Ellis and had he stood up I thought that Ashley Brook would have held on he was going far better. Bishop was magnanimous and thought he would have placed at worst. The others were at the end of their tether when he came down, a credit to them that they battled so well, they don’t know any better you see, they don’t know whether they are fit or not, they don’t know if the trip suits or the ground, THEY JUST RUN and the instinct it drives them, it forces them on, the will to be at the front of the herd. ABILITY
What will you be doing?

VDW said the ‘class horse’ seldom fails to capture the prize when that prize is big enough. The prize is big enough tomorrow, only the Grand National, the Cheltenham Gold Cup, the Queen Mother Champion Chase and the King George VI Chase offers more prize money. It is also the first leg of the million pound bonus, so there is extra incentive for the trainer to have him spot on.
The method you mentioned is I presume….â€

VDW stated that it was the C/F horse that seldom failed to capture the prize when it was big enough .
Glad your thinking about it though. What will you do?
November 24, 2007 at 02:44 #126521I’m still working my way through this race so I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet, but so far KS looks to be out in front class and form wise and conditions should suite. MYDS looks to need a race to be at his best which he will need to be in this race. One doubt I have is KS struggled early in his last race before rallying. VDW said the first doubt should be enough to leave well alone so does that mean no bet. Perhaps LEE, Mtoto, Hensman and those with more experience could tell us.

Yes lets hope they give us the benefit of their experience.
