    Fell in the first at Uttoxeter, clearly a very badly broken front leg. Horrible sight

    Yeah, just watched the race. The poor horse did nothing wrong, but the leg underneath him gave way when he fell.
    What an impeccably bred horse…… for the Flat. Dam had an OR of 83, his sire was third in an Arc. Poor Valsad was just about to win his 2nd race over hurdles after being a 95 rated performer on the Flat.
    Very tough loss.

    I was watching to cheer Guard Duty on but that incident just took all the joy out of the day, poor Valsad.

    Condolences to his connections, he had served them well on the flat and looked to have a bright future over jumps.
