Old news, but the former Martin Pipe trained Valfinet passed away recently, aged 23.
He won todays Elite Hurdle back in 1994 and was also a dual winner of the Kingwell Hurdle.
He was a favourite of mine when I started watching the sport.
Farewell, old lad.
