September 7, 2014 at 14:54 #489924The guy is a disgrace for the entire sport. But, as ususal, nothing will happen. People don`t care about such things.
November 22, 2014 at 15:17 #496084Well, I was wrong. He was banned and fined as well. It is a very cheap fine, but at least it is a beginning. I know that I’m the only one bothered by those cheats, but it’s nice to get some compensation from the authorities.
November 22, 2014 at 15:29 #496087I don’t think you are the only one bothered by cheating RL
November 22, 2014 at 15:46 #496094Three years is nowhere near enough of a deterrent for such an offence. If I were an Irish trainer who had not used steroids before – I’d now be thinking potential gains of using steroids are worth the chances of being caught.
Value Is EverythingNovember 22, 2014 at 16:53 #496103Gosh …3 years sounds lenient though
Cheating should be met with a life ban , nothing less will do ,,,once it is proven beyond any doubt , life bans would change the landscape …pretty darn quickly
November 22, 2014 at 16:55 #496105When I saw the thread title, I thought RL had meant to go to the Silk Road site and post an order
November 22, 2014 at 17:00 #496109Ricky’s right. There is no way to be too severe.
Life ban, all previous results annulled and compensation due to all owners/trainers whose horses were beaten by Fenton’s animals would be fair.
November 22, 2014 at 17:26 #496115If they also made it a criminal offence like they have done for athletes in Germany, this would be a further deterrent.
