PP have a powere price Scheffler 7/2; not v daring, I guess, but worked for me at PGA; even if he doesn’t win, he’ll be there or therabouts so will get a run for my money

    US open Oakmont

Shane Lowry 35/1 (45/1 1st round leader market)

Keegan Bradley 80/1 (60/1 1st round leader market)

This is going to be tough and if your player can’t
keep it on the fairway he has no chance of making par.
I think at most there will be 2 or 3 players below
par. Level par might even win it.

    Best of luck guys :good:

An old fashioned US Open where the organisers clearly don’t want anyone to beat par. And now it’s raining.

Great effort by Spaun to turn it around.

True, esp after hitting the flag on the 3rd and bouncing 70 yds back down the fairway

A great effort by Robert Macintyre as well. And well done to him for his sporting reaction and generosity towards Spaun.

Fair play to Spaun. He must have been disappointed to lose in the play off for The Players and it looked like it was falling apart in the early stages on Sunday.

Would he have won without the rain delay giving him the chance to take a step back and refocus? Who knows but it was a fine effort anyway.

Disappointing for Adam Scott. He has had a fine career and does have that Green Jacket. But his frailty in the majors was there again. Will he get any better chances at his age?
