Sounds like I have hit a nerve.

I’m glad you’re not my dentist, CAS.
January 26, 2026 at 14:49 #1752040I’ve messaged you back VTC.
January 26, 2026 at 21:00 #1752098Mike, I don’t wish to turn this into a pile on aimed at you and I’ve told you privately I respect you for your opinions on racing and it’s clear for all to see that you are a huge fan of the sport.
But the incessant lies regarding your fantasy prices means nobody can take you seriously. You’re attempting to treat the rest of us as fools. However. Ultimately the moderators of the forum are where the buck stops for allowing you to continue to post the utter nonsense you do.

All speculation, and none of it true.
January 26, 2026 at 21:46 #1752100No Mike it isn’t speculation. And it is true. You’re lying through your teeth and everyone else on the forum thinks you’re an utter

January 27, 2026 at 12:00 #1752134All –
The site runs on a ‘trust’ basis as far as claims made regarding prices available, bets placed/laid and cash outs.
However where we (myself and fellow mods) have reasonable doubt about the legitimacy of any claims we’ll be removing posts going forward.
Persons consistently posting claims which fall into this category will be in danger of having their accounts suspended or closed.

January 27, 2026 at 14:43 #1752159It’s one thing horses not fulfilling their potential – every trainer experiences this – but the injury scares for Henderson’s star horses, often before a big race or Cheltenham, far exceed what I can recall for Mullins or Nicholls. The Binocular farce was extraordinary. And the will he / won’t he sagas about putting a horse up in trip.
He had I Am Maximus finish fourth in the Ballymore. Switched to Mullins and 13 months later is winning an Irish National.
Henderson has horses like this and yet they fail to progress as handicap chasers. Saturday after Saturday there’s a valuable handicap chase without a Seven Barrows runner in sight.Handicap Chase winners last five years = 59
Nicholls = 128
Fergal O’Brien = 112
Ben Pauling = 123He’s an incredible horseman but frustrates me
January 28, 2026 at 05:26 #1752205I’m seen as a Henderson detractor on here , I have no doubt he has been a top trainer , however as the last 2 festivals have proven he’s lost his nerve , that’s not something you can say about Mullins and he has a load more horses to place , I’d also put forward Nicholls handling of Kauto and Denman , both of these horses were expertly handled

Is he though?
January 28, 2026 at 15:45 #1752250MUllins didn’t run Lossiemouth in the Champion Hurdle, one could argue that was a loss of nerve disguised as aiming her at the race they thought they could win.
I don’t think Hendo has lost his nerve although he doesn’t like to deviate from set routines for most of his top horses regarding race selection (I grow weary of him saying there are no other options to run when there clearly are, they are just not options he likes) but outside of a few horses he (like most every other trainer not named Willie Mullins) doesn’t have the top class firepower in depth to be running horses in all the big Cheltenham races or Saturday races.
Getting Sir Geno back to win the Christmas Hurdle (and Sprinter Sacre back in the day) clearly shows what he can do as a trainer with the right ammunition but I just wish he would be a litle more adventurous with his horses targets rather than just reacting to incidents that dictate that he change plans.
January 28, 2026 at 16:42 #1752259He’s had lost his nerve , he’s a mile away from being a champion trainer and now has some very average horses in his yard , Sprinter Sacre was a while ago now …

February 5, 2026 at 16:34 #1753580Well, he’s fighting an infection now. It was obvious it wouldn’t be an easy recovery as Nicky just called him out for the season. Insane to think that they might intend to run him again. How many fights for his life does Sir Gino need?
All the best to him, but only him….
February 5, 2026 at 16:37 #1753581There used to be a commonplace saying in racing: roughed off for the season.
That is all Hendo needs to say.
February 5, 2026 at 18:22 #1753591Surely to God they just retire him , if he was to run again I don’t think I could comfortably watch it
