The Pied Piper of hack a limb off Hamelin – dancing to the wishy washy tune of horse heavenly sent shite, splashing westward, through a creakin, leakin, poorly piped sewer system ?In 1284, while the town of Hamelin was suffering from an O O rat infestation, a piper dressed in multicoloured (“pied”) clothing appeared, claiming to be an O O rat catcher. He promised the mayor a solution to their problem with the O O rats. B.B news reporters stupidly let the multi coloured piper, who was shouting his mouth off, and singing through his pipe at the same time, right into the building to shat himself down for an interview on the fascinating subject of why he had never attended a race meeting since the Wetherby Donkey Derby over six years ago and had cancelled all his appointments, or just not turned up, to meet any people he’d arranged to meet, masked or unmasked, at racetracks ? It was after five days of continuous talking they had the contents of half a story told through a pipe, but they were all stricken down by the multi coloured variant O O you dirty rat Omicron. He’d done the dirty and not followed the rules.
Reports are hence suspended while the station goes into self imposed lockdown. If the station has to close, all employees have been offered posts as unpaid lurkers gathering news in dark alleys whilst conducting undercover SS operations – and very very dark.

An amazing invention that even helps protect your family, helps protect your neighbours, helps protect your friends and helps protect everyone else you meet. I’ll feel very sorry for you if getting shot dead after declining such an offer, but you’ll only have yourself to blame. However, feel most sorry for those you failed to protect.

Ricky has some immunity because he has had covid. Those of us that haven’t are depending on the vaccine to protect us along with other people wanting/trying to protect those around them. If Omicron isn’t a milder form of the virus we’re in big trouble. And all the anti vacc/anti lockdown marches are now going to make a post Christmas lockdown more likely, the people most likely to be affected by that being the schoolchildren, who have already missed out on so much. Thankfully we have several teachers in our family so my grandchildren are not missing out education wise, but it will have an awful effect on those less fortunate. If only the lemmings out there would jump off the cliff on their own but they’re taking everyone else with them.
Ricky those jabbed can still catch covid, those jabbed for flu can still catch the flu. It’s what happens after which is the important bit ie much less likely to need hospital treatment.

Omicron is v mild. My mate got it and was back in action after 4 days. He has still days to go on isolation
And if a lot of the workforce are off with Omicron even if it’s only for 4 days what will happen to food supply chains, transport, energy supply, NHS workers etc etc. How can schools stay open if half the staff and half the children are off sick? The government are desperate as it is to get teachers out of retirement to cover for the younger ones that are sick. Can you not see that it isn’t the severity of Omicron that’s the problem but the transmissibility. The former we’re not yet sure about but there is no argument about the latter.
