They have to come here with Banbridge now. He was outpaced but then did all his best work at the finish.

Another Mighty Potter win. That’ll do :o)

Chezza is happy enough with his bets on Mighty Potter and Banbridge (originally inspired by that shrewdie CAS!)

Chezza wants the latter for (far) more, but the former would do.

Alas not shrewd enough to have covered it by backing Mighty Potter as well!

Have to say I was impressed with him today. One or two sticky jumps early on but he always looked like the winner.

I thought Mighty Potter was a real mudlark so with Banbridge surely best on Good ground I’d have both possible surfaces covered.

But maybe the less testing ground here helped Mighty Potter jump better (he clouted numerous fences in the Drinmore)?

Anyway, I’ve got 5/1 Mighty Potter and 20/1 Banbridge for a bigger stake – you don’t have to be a maths genius to know who I will be rooting for if they’re neck and neck at the last!

If its soft I’d imagine Banbridge would go Arkle.

Just Mighty Potter for me as Sir Gerhard could go Brown Advisory and only 1 chase not ideal.

I’d have thought Banbridge demonstrated at the DRF that the Arkle is a race he simply can’t win whatever the surface.

But on spring ground, he might just make all in a Turners.

Banbridge never looked like winning his grade 1s so far. A popular placepot pick i’d imagine but is he classy enough for the Gold medal?

Only if Mighty Potter makes a jumping mistake can i see the Gold medal going elsewhere.

I’ve never taken to Mighty Potter until the weekend
    That was just wow
James Du Berlais didn’t run well and the other Mullins horse perhaps want further but even so Mighty Potter was brilliant

Mighty Potter’s jumping was at times shocking in the Drinmore, but it didn’t stop him.

It was better at the DRF and he impressed.

If he actually put in a fluent round, he might win half the track at the Fez.

But Chezza wants Banbridge for more so is clinging to the hope he can make all if it’s relatively quick ground.

I’m already on Jonbon (Arkle) but couldn’t resist the 9/1 with Skybet for El Fabiolo and Mighty Potter double

My first selection here at 12-1 is now 50-1 so enough said with Ha D’or

I’ve decided to bet the other one that I liked, Journey With Me, and he’s at 12-1 non runner no bet

Potter has comfortably shown the best jumps form but he did run a shocker here last year , Banbridge is the e.w play and I don’t expect him to be far away

No Banbridge so I’ve split my free PP bet on Appreciate it and Stage Star , Potter can win but I can’t play at that price

I’d question if Potter’s form is that standout. Beating Adamantley Chosen and GDM doesn’t excite me that much especially over far too short for GDM.

Irish Arkle form is great, Appreciate It for me as a 9yo is really needing a trip and going off 11/8 vs El Fab tells me they think he retains his ability.

I’ve sided with him, probably will look stupid lol.
