A losing day yesterday.
Only two races today have produced ratings which are above the minimum level I’ve set for having a bet. The levels are 100+ for flat racing and 130+ for jumps.
Both are at Thirsk.
8.00 ROSBAY 101 has the form to win this comfortably in an average year. There are a few newcomers but I wouldn’t worry about them too much in this grade.
8.30 Minister of State 115, Neardown Beauty 111, Natural Force 108. I would expect odds of about 2/1, 5/1 about the top two rated. The odds look about right at the moment, so no bet unless they change.
