Good morning Gamble.
A very quiet Christmas but, all OK and seasons greetings to you as well.
Just been out for my paper and my daily exercise.
Gamble, we very rarely give people the “chop” and the total is 33 and the majority of those were “spammers”. Considering the age of “TRF” I don’t think that is a bad stat.
I have very thick-skin Gamble and I take little notice of “keyboard warriors”.

A Good afternoon to you Matron and good to keep yourself fit and informed in these troubling times of restrictions. I have a few days paperwork to catch up on, which I have put off, and some difficult decisions to make.
I seem to be writing more as myself rather than gamble which may account for any strangeness that is apparent. I think we Matron may be the oldest surviving members of TRF and you predate me by a year or so. As for the 33 deaths it is an interesting statistic and if I am not mistaken is the age that Jesus met his maker ( his Father ) when he was crucified on the cross. I have no qualms with cutting the jugular of spammers M, but the deaths of the other poor souls causes me some concern. It is not only the abrupt and final cutting short of their lives but the destruction of their art that gets my craw even more.
The racing threads are often entertaining, Meydan on thursdays, as an example, and yes they can sometimes be defined as art, but rarely in comparison to the bristling lounge threads. Look at the Archive section – chochablock with old races hardly ever read.
You may notice in this Apathy list the missing words of Ian Davies and Grasshopper and such loose ends leave a poor reading of the rest – much like a detective novel with important clues missing.
A good day to you Matron – you have a thick skin and the power to destroy art and all I have is gripe water and an imagination of what might have been.
Addendum to my last post. I think Nixer trolled Davies and there was another whose name was a letter and a couple of numbers ( out of my memory ).
I have mistakenly included Grasshopper and the other night I was reading the death of Robin Cook thread where I think Grasshopper’s words had been vapourised – so my error.

I joined “TRF” in February 2001.
Posts, again are not deleted or edited just for the sake of it. Some members take offence to explicit language or graphics with bad language for example. It may be funny to some but, not to many others.
There were quite a few topics/posts that were lost when the site was hosted elsewhere due to corruption of files.
I seem to remember Matron you ran a garage some time back and wonder out of curiosity if you are still so occupied ? I think I joined a little after you later in that year 2001.
I brought up your nemesis on the other thread and you have oft expressed your unwavering disapproval which endures over many years. Razeen’s offence I remember well and certainly it was severe indeed, and I am sure you would have talked this over with Craig ( Daylight ). I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall at that time. Back tben I had been banned a few years prior and made a return after a year gap with a recommend from Betfair’s Slippy Blue who was friends with Craig and persuaded him to give me another chance on the board and well – I have been here ever since – not that I have been that easy a ride, certainly not in the early days, myself one of the three hijackers Pewter so detested. I have calmed down a lot since then – age may have slowed me down a bit and made me feel more comfortable in my skin.
I do think if Arzen, was the second coming of Razeen, as I suspected, he might have been given a second chance as I was, to see if his edges might have softened a bit. It is a long time ago and I write only for interests sake.
I do appreciate you don’t delete individual posts but on occasion I have seen a whole thread removed because of a few unfavourable postings. Also if a name is dispatched so goes their postings which seems unfair to others who will later puzzle at a thread that makes little or less sense.
I have been a main administrator on a board in the past, and I do not underestimate that decisions are not the easiest but I have always believed if time and care are used conjunctively good outcomes can result.
Anyway a few thoughts Matron from me, and some repeated, I wish you well and take care.

Tank I read with some mirth the old duffer thread you directed at me. I suggest you double dose the Wellman tablets you should be taking as your mind seems to be slowly departing from your body and seems uuncomfortably to be sitting in LA LA land that land of make believe where you can find sheep queing up to buy a joint at …..the Butchers.
It was Ricky Lake that said Davies wasn’t the real man in black not me – Whether he thought Kotikjet I doubt but I don’t think he suggested anyone just that it was a clone. I knew backwards it was Davies. As for BH not being Kotikjet and my words suggesting such – I would need some read my lips. I think a lot of people were a bit gobsmacked on that but I cannot remember if I joined the dots or not. You never connected Paddy the Paddy with Koti whereas I did. I don’t know if you got the other connection – as you sail so much in the wind I would need some evidence.
You have to stop fiddling about with your posts Tank it is unbecoming of a shiftshaping Ike type Warrior if that is what you think you might be.

This is getting tiresome now, gamble. You are all over the place at the moment and I’m not wanting to be rude, but I’ve got better things to do than to keep correcting your posts.
Ricky was a bit strange but didn’t loathe me- he was actually quite friendly in the end and used to pop into the betfair forum to say hello to me and Nathan + Slippy. He even posted a bit on the Kate Bush thread there.
As far as you saying that you knew backwards that it was Ian, that is total nonsense. You made a big thing about announcing who he was… The Big Reveal, kept us hanging on for two or three days, and then when I said ‘ come on then who is it’ you said.. It is you! How could you forget that!?
I will have any money with you on that being correct – a monkey? a grand? just name it. I don’t usually bet that much, but this is a cert. Nathan may remember. I’ll see if I can find the thread after racing. It was Christmas time five or six years ago.You need a break from here imo as you’re definitely losing your marbles. Kind regards
Well there were some reasonable posts from Ricky to you much later after the main debacle. I have his old email I could check if you’re firmly on his Xmas card list – he may not reply or sadly might not be able to. Look lets be clear the only reason you were possibly still able to post on here is the consequence of falling page per view numbers -unless Mac has had a lobotomy or spent time at a monastery.
The big reveal I was to make was in the troublers. Certainly Lake miscalled Davies when he came back – I don’t know about the Kate Bush thread. You fudge a lot Tank and can sometimes twist things in your favour. I certainly will not be betting on that because I wrote yards and yards back then. What I have written above stands. I can usually smell Davies a mile off and know his excellent writing style backwards. Find the evidence I would be interested – there might be a slight chance of another time – but keep your hair on Tank you seem to be losing it.

Ricky, you don’t seem to be as friendly with Nathan as you used to be? Mind you, you do chop and change a lot!Looked on TRF but didn’t see any comment from Snaithan re apology that you mentioned. I think what you did wrong back then was bringing the argument over here, it should have stayed on TRF, Imo. Gamble wasn’t too happy with you doing that either as I remember.
Hope Gamble is still with us, would be good to see him post on here or over at TRF. Can’t quite remember the last name he used on here now… Son of…..?
