Hey Graham – Just noticed you missed 10 pts on my score on Friday. Both my runners in 3:35 scored :good:

    Emaraaty Ana & The Platinum Queen 2nd @ 9/2 3rd @ 12/1 – I think that’s 18 pts plus I had my only winner State Occasion for 14 pts giving me 32 on the day not 22.

It will make my horrendous score for the week looks slightly less horrible.

    Thanks Mate!

Only 2 managed to get their nose in front with Kinross,
5/1 and 17 points, they were mickeyjp and myself. It gets
us both off he starting blocks :good:

Good luck with the nexy, the Ebor, it’s a great race but
a nightmare to dig out a winner, never mind a place. 20
    runners so 4 places.

Another groaaaaan. I had your 2 marked up on my sheet okay Andre,
I just made a simple (appropriate for me) error counting up. My
apologies mate, it’s been sorted. I think my brain was frazzled
by the time I totted up the final scores

Good luck with the rest of today’s meeting :good:

Well I said above it was a nightmare to pick the winner of
the Ebor….but not for Queen of the Forum, Jac (Triptych)
who wasthe only one to have the Winner. Well done Jac
that was a beauty :yahoo: :

Trawlerman, 9/1 and 22 points, must have got it by the hair
on his nostrils and I’ve got to feel for Illavim who was
on Alfred Boucher (2nd at 8/1 and 10 points). You’re
probably hoarse now urging him on. That’s a hard one to
take but 10 important points nonetheless :good:

You probably heard me screaming me home up in Scotland BigG ! And having denied poor Alfie a second win of the week, Dettori then miserably failed to get my NAP home in the next race :-( :-( :-(
At least my reserves are still winning

Edge of my seat Graham really needed that one. What a race Frankie rode on him. :yahoo: .
Sorry for illavim and Alfred Boucher, what a lovely horse he is, I thought he had it but I have lost so many photos by a nostril it was so nice to get this one home.
Took 12/1 this morning with Paddy and that saw me out of the red for first time this week.
Good luck for the rest of the compy.

There were 4 Nathan, Mike Walsh, Eddy 7 and Middle Of March
who picked out the winner. A cracking 15/2 shot worth 17 points.
Well done all but particularly to Nathan and Edd7 who had their
nap on him for 34 points. Well done guys :good:

Not a bean for the rest of us, but plenty, like me, had
Commanche Falls as their reserve. I feel like I deserted
him after him winning last time out for me

The 2nd last, which I flaming well missed  produced
Treasure Trove, 4/1 winner (14 points) had just 3 on him,
Alexander, Chestnut and myself. Fortunately for me I had
my nap on him which was badly needed. Well done guys :good:

Just the 1 to go :yahoo: and them we’ll see what’s what.

Nathan, you came charging through in the final day with a
magnificent 78. Brilliant stuff to take that 3rd place on

Well done to everyone, it’s been 4 great days at York.
I’m off to have a large Glenturret and put my feet up.

    Well deserved, Mike :good:
Tried my best and with scores of between 40 to 50 each day that kind of consistency usually pays off. However you were just a little bit better. It’s also my personal best in these kinds of competition.

Graham, put your feet up and take a rest, until it comes to updating us on how the tote competition is going  Might checkout that Netflix series you watched midweek

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

Thanks BigG well done winners. Crash landed the last day, some very strange decisions. How I’ve not backed Kinross and Treasure Trove is beyond me. No time to mope, plenty of racing tomorrow to get stuck into.

I’m actually thrilled to finish fifth – the standard in these competitions is so high.

Many thanks to BigG for running it.

Well done Mike that is some score you raked up over the 4 days :yahoo:
Rummy, Nathan, Graham and Ian were never far off your tail and any one of them could have lept into the lead today with just one more winner.
With hot favourites getting turned over and gambled on horses failing to score it turned into what I consider the hardest day of all to find a winner.

Happy to be in good company down there in the 90’s with Raymo who’s sharing his cakes out with all those who scored less than 100 but don’t worry Mike gets the keys to the Penthouse and Graham has made sure there is plenty of bubbly and managed to arrange for that girl in the pink catsuit from Ladles Day that Nathan liked to sing Congratulations to all the high scorers.

Finally a huge thank you to Graham for running this competition and making it so much fun whilst burning the midnight oil and tearing his hair out collating all our scores into those very neat columns. :good: Nice one Graham. Thoroughly enjoyable 4 days..now go and put your feet up. :rose: Jac
