Sprinter SacreOctober 30, 2014 at 11:19 #493789What’s the rules for replacements gentlemen? I can’t seem to find it on the first page.
Just so you know why I’m querying, I read that Josses Hill isn’t going to be seen till the New Year. Does this qualify for a replacement, or is it a case of tough titties?
Either way, it won’t be a problem.
October 30, 2014 at 12:18 #493795Hello Nenni, yeah, that will be no problem……can you remember how long the February window was open for?
Hi VTC,
Is there going to be a February window for subs? And if so, will the horse you substitute out’s points already won still count towards your total at the end of the competition? Or are points scored by substituted horses taken away?
eg If I had Silviniaco Conti in there to score a load of points early season and then substitute him for Holywell (because I believe the latter will do much better in the second half of the season)… Would I keep all Silviniaco Conti’s points despite "substituting" him?

There will definitely be a February window GT, and I’ll confirm before Saturday, but 99.9% certain it will be the fortnight between The Argento, and The Irish Hennessy.
Any points achieved before the window, will stay in your overall total, so if using your example, then you would keep any Silviniaco points, and the be free to start scoring with Holywell. Using that example, then the flip side is, you wouldn’t gain any of the points already gained before the window by Holywell.
Thanks VTC,
Shame it’s just after the Argento; that’s the race I was hoping Holywell would get points in, before storming home in the Gold Cup. If only it were a 15 to follow competition, I’d have no problem then.Who to leave out?…

Also with doubts over whether Penhill will be going hurdling yet after his sale at HIT this week I’d like to replace him with Grey Gold.
Thanks.
