Maybe I should just be sending this to Corm but I wanted to throw it out to the masses.
Following on from the recent thread about TRF culture and general migration to other places, I was thinking about how to bring in new members. How about a TRF podcast?
Perhaps it could start off as a weekly thing with a host, a couple of TRF guests and an ‘outside’ guest. There are quite a few high-profile ‘friends of TRF’ who might be willing to take part. Especially if published on a Friday, there could be discussion of the weekend’s big races, tips, chat/Q&A with the guests and all the usual stuff you hear on FinalFurlong etc.
It could be good fun and would help us all to get to know each other a bit more. I like to think we’ve got enough great judges and big characters to produce entertaining and worthwhile content too. Could be a decent little earner for the TRF coffers if things started well and we picked up a sponsor as well.
What do you think guys? Good idea/bad idea?
It would obviously depend on Corm’s approval in the first place but it would be good to scope out which posters would fancy getting involved as guests.
I’m a newbie and I like the idea personally.
