December 24, 2013 at 13:44 #462864The burning thatched cottage
and a peep inside the curmudgeon’s
very comfortable looking home
came extremely close NathanDecember 24, 2013 at 13:48 #462867The one of Drone was a good insight he looks and posts very intelligently. The one of ginger with his knowledge trophy would have stood a chance but I believe it was so last year.

Ah yes, it is a rather oojah-cum-spiff study isn’t it? A questionable taste in clothing maybe but at least my shirt was tucked in
A cerebral bonce; a kind, intelligent, knowing but somewhat other-worldly visage; penetrating but laughing, slightly mocking eyes
That’s part of my collection of 19th century Wisdens on the bookshelf
Though I was rather hoping you’d have chosen this photo

The quintessential portrait of the ‘serious punter’ during form study. Sleeves rolled up, top buttons undone, x-ray specs, forearm resting on Timeform Perspective, trigger finger from excessive leafing and enveloped in the comforting, aromatic fug of chain-smoked bowls of PGW Fine Old Shag
Specialist tobacconists are a rarity nowadays; there used to be one Taunton, either in or near the Castle Hotel Square. Happily, whenever I’m down your way McGahey’s in Exeter continues to offer a wide range of Flakes, Shags, strange Mixtures and Snuff
down in Nagasaki
where the men all chew tobacky
and the women wicky-wacky wooDecember 26, 2013 at 12:47 #462981I didn’t put that photo up Drone as it adds sophisticated to the intelligent’s and is a better quality picture which could of added pressure as votes could go to the any other photo and Hayley and I lose out.

I’ve never done the smoking thing but if I had I think the pipe would of been the way I would of gone. I think I know of the Tabaco shop in which you speak. Got robbed by a hoody a fair few years back, hope it wasn’t you?

That is a great Picture Nath,I do like the ‘Leicas’ around your neck, quality mate!
December 26, 2013 at 15:45 #463004Yes Gord those ‘Leicas’ would give a blind man a great view of a race at the beautiful course that is Nottingham. When Myself and Hayley take this 2013 photo award and celebrate together with a romantic meal it will all be down to your professional photography mate………

December 27, 2013 at 20:56 #463132The picture of you Nath got my vote. The blue oyster one and one you put up of ginger were funny, but you’ve stated the problems you’ve had, so you’ve got my vote because your picture has meaning. It’s a symbol of how you’ve successfuly beat the tribulations you’ve openly spoke of. You’re a few **** poems away from winning next years poster of the year. No offence gamble.
December 27, 2013 at 21:29 #463135Thanks Wolf
you do know that gamble
is a sheep?
Sharpen your teeth
lick your lips
don’t eat too much
it will widen your hips!Drone don’t let that Andrew Hughes into your house for a spot of lunch as if he see’s your collection of Wisdom you may struggle to get rid of him.
