To win the chance to place this week’s £5.00 Charity Bet on any event of your choice please estimate the following.

    Q

The total number of runs scored by both teams in England’s Quarter Final match at the Cricket World Cup.

Does this exclude extras, as you don’t, as a batting team, ‘score’ those?

    Do I have a vested interest … ?

Yes 360’s, it was intended to include the ‘extras’ in the total scored for both teams.

So, this week’s winner, by a single run is

    Pat123

    .

Well done Pat, please let me know what you would like to place your bet on, on this thread – and best of luck.

    Changes to Charity Bet Format

First may I thank everyone that has taken part in weeks 1 & 2 however the general interest on the main board seems low/non existent so. As from today (week 3) the weekly Charity Bet shall be given to the person each week in the Daylight Cup who scores the highest winning margin – ‘goal difference’ – and then placed on their nap for the following week.

Bad luck Robert, the luck was with me this week.

My bet is £5 win on Shaun Murphy to win the China Open Snooker. The current price is 12-1. Play starts early tomorrow morning so hopefully the bet can be placed in time.

    Thanks for running these competitions.
